Description
When John Meredith meets amateur pianist Nadya Stepanova at a Moscow concert in 1941, the America conductor follows her to her rural town and marries her. Leaving her husband's tour when Germany begins its invasion, Nadya returns to her father's farm and fights against the Nazis. With the region under martial law and safe travel nonexistent, Meredith begins a perilous trek to reunite with his wife, unaware that her village may have already been destroyed.
