Two undated sermons, one dateable at 1826. Both were accompanied on their arrival at the Library by a manuscript note reading "Earliest sermons of Samuel Ripley (ordained 1809)." Since the dateable sermon can be placed some seventeen years into Ripley's pastorate at Waltham, the early supplied date of the other sermon ([181-]), based on the information in the manuscript note, may be inaccurate.
